1) The rush you get from finishing is way more thrilling than a sugar rush.
2) NaNoWriMo actually helps you accomplish something.
3) The scariest part about NaNo is the 30Ks.
4) It actually has proper theme songs.
5) You make new friends. Inside your head and outside your head. :P
6) It lasts a whole month instead of only one day.
Anybody else got anything?

Haha, that's cute! My birthday and my roommate's birthday are in October (my roommate's birthday actually being Halloween) and we spend more time planning for NaNo than we do for any of the celebrations in October. Though I love Halloween to no end <3

9) People don't call you disgusting for still doing it because you can never be too old for NaNo! (I had a lady call me and my friends disgusting for trick-or-treating when we were 17.)
